Back From Hiatus
Wow, it has been a while since I’ve been on here. I originally created this blog as a resource for military spouses and as a platform to share our story with friends and family. Veterans Day Benefits
Happy almost Veterans Day! I love this time of year because there are so many military balls going on and I love the swell of patriotism and appreciation for our soldiers and their service. If you’ve been here awhile you remember this post from last year about my parent’s military service. This year I figured I would take a different angle on Veterans Day. First Trimester Update
Fatigue. That’s all I have to really say about this first trimester. Well, more like fatigue and nausea. Before I knew I was pregnant and for a few weeks after, I was positive I had mono or something else. I was so tired. I am a busy-body, and overachiever- not a slacker or a couch potato! These last few months, I felt like I was hibernating I slept so much!

Life Update
Now that Jett and I are settled into our rental home I wanted to share a life update! So many things have changed within the past few weeks, I’ve traded running for video workouts, I switched my cell phone plan from Sprint to AT&T, Jett and I are residents of North Carolina and the biggest change yet… I CUT MY HAIR!

My Purpose
I’m finding it really hard to explain what leaving my dream job is like. Probably because it still feels like a dream to me. A dream that I got this job in the first place, and a dream that it’s ending.
