Must-Have Baby Apps

These days there is an app for everything! I’ve rounded up my top three favorite baby apps.

There's an app for everything, including your baby! My must-have baby apps are The Bump, Qeepsake and Glow Baby. They're great for tracking and monitoring your new baby.

The Bump

The Bump is a very common app. I love the “How Big is Baby” section and all the informational tips, facts and articles. I would say most moms-to-be are already pretty familiar with this app.

Download The Bump on the App Store or Google Play.

Qeepsake

Qeepsake is a journaling app. It’s so simple to use. Qeepsake will text you questions periodically and all you have to do is text back your answer. You can log into the app to upload pictures or edit your responses. If you don’t respond to a question and they message you a new question you cannot go back and add an answer for the first question unless you pay to upgrade your membership. Overall I love the idea of a text prompt every now and then to help me keep up with logging JJ’s memories.

Glow Baby

Glow Baby is my ultimate favorite and most used app. I remember reading breastfeeding tricks like switching a hair tie from one wrist to the other to indicate which boob baby is feeding from next but if you’re anything like me you’ll forget the hair tie has a purpose other than to hold your hair and you’ll use it in your hair!

The first two days we were in the hospital our care team had us tracking JJ’s feedings and diaper changes on a printout. Tracking these things are helpful to keep baby on a schedule and to reference if any changes occur. Glow Baby does all of this and more! So far my favorite part of the app has been the sleep tracker. This has helped us make sure JJ doesn’t sleep too much during the day and party all night!

I also love the ability to add photos and log milestones such as his first submerged bath. There is a premium subscription for Glow Baby but I haven’t figured out what additional benefits the premium app has. There don’t seem to be any limitations with the free version of the app.

Download Glow Baby on the App Store or Google Play.
