• Wilmington Railroad Museum

All aboard to the Wilmington Railroad Museum!

The Wilmington Railroad Museum is a fun and educational experience for all ages. Our first trip to the railroad museum was December 2021 with my Grandpa and it was just as fun for him as it was for JJ! This past year for JJ's birthday we got a membership from my mom and it has been the perfect adventure on hot, summer days.

  • One Month Down!

We're one month into our journey as first time foster parents and despite one call to 911 things are going really well!

  • Promoted to Foster Parents!

It's been almost a month since our paperwork came back and we officially became therapeutic foster parents but in that month we've been presented a handful of placements, accepted them all then something has always fallen through. This afternoon we officially open our home and JJ becomes a little brother to an 11 year old girl.

  • Must-Have Baby Apps

There's an app for everything, including your baby! My must-have baby apps are The Bump, Qeepsake and Glow Baby. They're great for tracking and monitoring your new baby.

  • Back From Hiatus

Wow, it has been a while since I’ve been on here. I originally created this blog as a resource for military spouses and as a platform to share our story with friends and family. This fall/winter threw us some curveballs and I wasn’t interested in sharing much. But, I’m ready to get back out there again! So, welcome back to Warrior Wife! And, oh yeah, we have a new addition! Meet Jett Michael Jr., or “JJ!”

  • First Trimester Update

Fatigue. That’s all I have to really say about this first trimester. Well, more like fatigue and nausea. Before I knew I was pregnant and for a few weeks after, I was positive I had mono or something else. I was so tired. I am a busy-body, and overachiever- not a slacker or a couch potato! These last few months, I felt like I was hibernating I slept so much!
