Seriously, where is everybody?! The whole time Jett and I have been together he’s been in the military. Jett and I met the summer before his junior year at the Naval Academy. Now, Jett is stationed at Quantico, Virginia as he awaits IOC (Infantry Officer Course) training. So this military thing isn’t new for us. It’s been part of our relationship since the beginning. When we started dating, he was playing baseball at the academy. For the next two years I would travel from Virginia and eventually Kansas, up and down the East Coast to see him play. May 31st, 2015, Jett walked into the Norfolk, Virginia Chili’s where I was working. It was an early Sunday morning and his group of friends were some of our first customers. I remember telling a coworker how cute the guy in the sunglasses was. Well, that guy-Jett, ended up leaving his number on the back of his receipt for me.
